Did you know that imagination develops at a young age? You can encourage your little one to take part in imaginative activities that will inspire a lifetime of creativity!

At home, let them draw or use finger paints to create their own masterpiece. You can paint or draw on all sorts of materials, including newspapers, magazines, cardboard or even the sidewalk. Ask your child about the colors they used or the different shapes and patterns they’ve made. Encourage them to talk about their art by asking them, “tell me about your picture.”

Focus on the process of creating with your little one instead of the final product. Talk, ask questions and tell stories with your child while they create something at home!
