Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Now accepting applications for no-cost career training and support.

Nursing assistants provide and coordinate patient care; educate patients and the public about various health conditions; and provide advice, emotional support and direct care to patients and their family members. Most nursing assistants work as part of a team with physicians and other healthcare specialists.

A CNA must be able to take vitals, help bathe patients, lift and move patients into bed or wheelchairs, and follow basic care plans.

Course Length:

  • Career-Readiness Training: 1 week
  • Pre-Training: 1 week
  • CNA Course Training: 4 weeks (1 month)
  • Total Training Length: 6 weeks

Potential Starting Wage: $9 to $12 per hour
