Agency shares idea on how to end poverty

The Community Health Endowment of Lincoln hosted a Community Conversation on how to solve poverty. They invited Janae Bradford of the Community Action Program of Tulsa--or Cap Tulsa—an anti–poverty agency.

Bradford said CAP Tulsa uses a two–generation strategy, or 2Gen to break the poverty cycle.

"If you really want to impact poverty and especially intergenerational poverty...you really need to support both the child and the parent at the same time," Bradford said.  "That's what a two–generation approach is."
